The "Living Room" is a perfomance that highlights the use of the sidewalk as a gathering space - a space for conversation and meetings, much like an extension of the house - which is not evident in Rua das Doze Casas, Porto.  I realized that there is a sense of community among the inhabitants of this street. Although the sidewalks of this street are fragmented, narrow or nonexistent, residents meet and talk in this public space, which turns out to be an extension of their living rooms.

This performance exercise also made it possible for me to claim, albeit symbolically, my space in this street, where I lived but did not belong.
